Reference Collection, behind the Reference Desk (cannot be checked out)
- Occupational Guidance Provides four pages per job description, including disadvantages and suggested high school classes/activities.
- Occupational Outlook Handbook Provides three to five pages per job description and special sections on fastest growing occupations. Considered the standard for the future of jobs and careers. Also available online at: www.bls.gov/OCO.
- Career Information Center and Occupations Digest Provides one to two pages per job descriptions, including workers’ comments, helpful high school classes, and more.
Nonfiction Collection: Search our Catalog
- Do a Keyword search on the job/career and vocational guidance.
- To place a hold:
- Click the Place Hold button
- Enter your library card number (without spaces) and your PIN (usually the last 4 digits of your phone number to Login
Confirm information and click Place Hold
- Confirm library where you want to pick up the item and click Submit Hold
- Click to return to search results
You will receive an email or postcard when the item is ready for you to pickup at the library.
