Nancy is the Circulation Supervisor and coordinates the daily work flow of the Circulation Department. In addition, she coordinates day care collections and meeting room reservations. A native of southeastern Wisconsin, Marjorie Brashier has a Journalism Bachelor of Arts and a Master's Degree in Library and Information Studies, both from the wonderful UW-Madison. She started at the Fond du Lac Public Library has a cataloger, and over the years, has been a Reference librarian, a website designer (not our current site), software installer and computer troubleshooter. She will be a co-system administrator of our upcoming standalone automation system and also returning more to her cataloging roots.
Support Services includes the departments of Circulation (checking materials in and out, transporting materials and filling holds), Technical Services (ordering, cataloging, labeling and repairing materials) and Technology Support (computer assistance and catalog software).
