NetLibrary, a collection of electronic books (E-books) available over the Internet and readable on your computer, is available to you as part of a Wisconsin Public Library Consortium grant. Just click on this link to get started. Staff at the Reference Desk can assist you.

E-books may be checked out for 24 hours. They are automatically checked in after 24 hours, so there are no overdues or fines. You may search for specific titles and subjects, or you may browse Title and Subject lists of the E-books available from the Wisconsin Public Library Consortium.

If you listen to audio books, we have the perfect thing for you — our library is now providing access to the OverDrive Digital Audio Book collection!

If you're already a fan of books on tape and books on CD, this is a new way to enjoy your favorites at home, in your car and on the go! You can download audiobooks to your PC and listen to them on your computer, transfer them to a digital audio player, PDA, or other portable device.

Downloading the free and easy to use OverDrive Media Console software allows you to listen to audio books in high-quality Windows Media Audio format on any Windows computer. If your PC already has Windows Media Player installed, the Console works hand-in-hand with WMP to give you added functionality to transfer your audio books to supported portable devices.

Listening is easy! Just click on this link for digital audio books, choose one of the great titles available, download and listen. Search for your favorite book titles or browse through topics of interest. Choose from over 500 fiction and non-fiction titles, anytime day or night.

Streaming Audio Books

TumbleTalkingBooks is an online audio book library collection of streaming audio books for public libraries and schools.

Titles include unabridged audio versions of classics of American and world literature, non-fiction, fiction, and children and teen books. The collection includes plays and drama, including all-cast versions of popular Shakespeare plays, as well as 65 Read-Along titles which combine large print online text with complete unabridged narration. It also offers a section of Spanish-language works.
