Slices of Life by Gerri Buteyn

'Slices of Life' art exhibit by Gerri Buteyn reflects the artist's deep roots in the farming community – past and present – and the devastating effects of hard times. Buteyn and presenting sponsor Fond du Lac Visual Arts will host a public reception in the gallery from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, January 10. The reception is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.

'Slices of Life' showcases Buteyn’s paintings, photographs, writings and includes a short documentary on drought’s effects on the farming community.
