Kids Summer Reading Program

The children’s summer reading program for kids ages birth to 12 runs June 4 through Aug 18. Register at the Main Library or FDLPL Express, near Festival Foods.

Kids get credit for the time they spend reading (or being read to) and doing literacy-building activities such as writing book reviews or drawing pictures about what they’ve read. During the summer, they can complete up to eight reading records and turn them in weekly for rewards. Children who finish five or more reading records can pick out a new book.

The last day to pick up Dream Big rewards is Saturday, August 18.

Kids can file their book reviews online using this form.

All programs are held at the Main Library and are free; some require tickets and/or registration. For more information, visit or call the Children’s Desk at (920) 929-7080, ext. 127.
