Sarah Newton is the Youth Services Coordinator and heads the children's and teen department. She moved from Virginia to Fond du Lac in 2012 and yes, she still loves the snow in Wisconsin. Sarah has been in libraries for almost ten years and continually looks for ways to keep the library in the forefront of people's minds. She adores any book that will make her laugh, such as That is Not a Good Idea by Mo Willems and the Regarding the . . . series by Kate Klise and thinks that one of the best parts of libraries is still sharing great books. Stop in and see her or email her at [email protected]!
Lori is the Support Services Coordinator and is in charge of Circulation and Technical Services. She grew up in Manitowoc, received her undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin - Superior and her Masters Degree in Library Studies from the University of Michigan (Ann Arbor). She has been working in libraries since high school and has been a circulation page, materials processor, clerk, library assistant, cataloger, reference librarian and now a department head.
She enjoys meeting new people (although she's horrible with names!) and reading or listening to just about any kind of book. Her favorite reads include My Sister's Keeper by Jodi Picoult, The Shack by Wm. P. Young, the Stephanie Plum series by Janet Evanovich, the Virgin River series by Robyn Carr, the dragon books (multiple series) by Katie MacAlister, the Hunger Games series by Suzanne Collins, the Maximum Ride series by James Patterson, The Dive From Clausen's Pier by Ann Packer and Good to Great by Jim Collins.
She has lived in the town of Taycheedah since 2005 with her husband and daughter.
