She holds a BA from Iowa State University and a Master's Degree in Library and Information Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She enjoys audiobooks, knitting, hiking and hanging out with her husband, son and passel of cats.

Mary Parsons is the Youth Services Librarian at the library. She worked in her first library when she was in high school and she still thinks it is an extremely fun and rewarding job. She enjoys creating entertaining and educational events for children, especially those programs that allow her to make a mess. Mary loves reading fantasy, mystery, and any book that makes her laugh. She is passionate about traveling and will happily spend hours discussing the places she's seen or would like to see.

Annette is a librarian in the Information Services Dept. and coordinator of the Opportunity Center. She grew up in the Fond du Lac area and has an education and library degree from UW Oshkosh and UW Madison, respectively. She has been working at FDL Public Library for more than 10 years. She has spent time in Information Services, Bookmobile, Children's and is now back in Information Services.

I grew up in Fond du Lac and have always enjoyed coming to the public library. Now I am one of the reference librarians. I am a member of the Fond du Lac County Historical Society, the Fond du Lac County Genealogical Society, the Wisconsin State Genealogical Society and several other area genealogy societies. I enjoy traveling and attending genealogy workshops to learn more about researching my own family history.

I have a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood and Kindergarten Education and a Master's in Library Science, both from UW-Madison, which is my home town. Before moving to Fond du Lac, I taught preschool for 10 years. I have been a librarian since 1994. I spent 14 years as a children's and teen librarian, and am now a reference librarian. She enjoys reading books that have a Wisconsin connection, feature dogs, are humorous, intriguing, historical or are literary, book-club type books. A native of southeastern Wisconsin, Marjorie Brashier has a Journalism Bachelor of Arts and a Master's Degree in Library and Information Studies, both from UW-Madison. She started at FDL Public Library has a cataloger, and over the years, has been a reference librarian, a website designer (not our current site), software installer and computer troubleshooter. She is currently a cataloger and co-system administrator of our library automation system.
