Summer 2016 programs for teens

For teens in grades 6-12. All programs are free, no registration required.

Teen Kickoff Party: 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 14. Held outdoors at the Main Library downtown with games such as giant Jenga and giant Connect 4, hula hoops, limbo, sidewalk chalk and a cupcake walk.

Summer 2016 programs for kids

All programs are free. Only Mega-Mondays require tickets. No registration required for the others.

Professional entertainers every week at 10 a.m. and repeated at 1 p.m. All ages. Children 5 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Space is limited. Free tickets are required and are available at the Children’s Desk the Tuesday before each performance.

Family unveils completed Cindy Barden Teachers’ Center

Family members of the late Cindy Barden gathered at the Fond du Lac Public Library on May 18 to view the completed Cindy Casetta Barden Teachers’ Resource Center inside the Children’s Room.

‘Go By Bike’ June 23; Bike to the Library Week June 19-25

A fun, informative session for all ages, Go By Bike at noon Thursday, June 23, at the Fond du Lac Public Library, will help celebrate Bike to the Library Week.

Updated bootlegging programs June 16

Did moonshiners and bootleggers come to the Holyland or were they born and raised there? Local historian J.J. Jenkins has been investigating the area’s fascinating past and will tell tales at Bootlegging and Moonshining in the Holyland presented twice – 2 p.m. and repeated at 6 p.m. on Thursday, June 16, at the Fond du Lac Public Library.

Patriotic door rosette Crafternoon June 18

Using red, white and blue papers, crafters at the 1 p.m. June 18 Fond du Lac Public Library Crafternoon program will make a patriotic door rosette.

The program is free and open to adults and teens in middle school or older. Space is strictly limited. All supplies will be provided. Under-aged children and walk-ins are not allowed.

'Bloody' author at Chapter 52 June 4
