Support Services
Support Services includes the departments of Circulation (checking materials in and out, transporting materials and filling holds), Technical Services (ordering, cataloging, labeling and repairing materials) and Technology Support (computer assistance and catalog software).
Lori is the Support Services Coordinator and is in charge of Circulation and Technical Services. She grew up in Manitowoc, received her undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin - Superior and her Masters Degree in Library Studies from the University of Michigan (Ann Arbor). She has been working in libraries since high school and has been a circulation page, materials processor, clerk, library assistant, cataloger, reference librarian and now a department head.
She enjoys meeting new people (although she's horrible with names!) and reading or listening to just about any kind of book. Her favorite reads include My Sister's Keeper by Jodi Picoult, The Shack by Wm. P. Young, the Stephanie Plum series by Janet Evanovich, the Virgin River series by Robyn Carr, the dragon books (multiple series) by Katie MacAlister, the Hunger Games series by Suzanne Collins, the Maximum Ride series by James Patterson, The Dive From Clausen's Pier by Ann Packer and Good to Great by Jim Collins.
She has lived in the town of Taycheedah since 2005 with her husband and daughter.
A native of southeastern Wisconsin, Marjorie Brashier has a Journalism Bachelor of Arts and a Master's Degree in Library and Information Studies, both from the wonderful UW-Madison. She started at the Fond du Lac Public Library has a cataloger, and over the years, has been a Reference librarian, a website designer (not our current site), software installer and computer troubleshooter. She will be a co-system administrator of our upcoming standalone automation system and also returning more to her cataloging roots.
Nancy is the Circulation Supervisor and coordinates the daily work flow of the Circulation Department. In addition, she coordinates day care collections and meeting room reservations. She has been employed at the library over 20 years, all in Circulation. When not at work she enjoys spending time with her grandchildren. You can reach her at [email protected].

Sara Roltgen is the manager of The BookCellar in addition to working as a library clerk. She loves the challenge of bringing people to the lower-level shop to discover its amazing literary bargains, the sales of which support library programming. After hours, Sara can be found pounding out hymns, analyzing apple trees, and haunting java joints. Previous to working at the library she spent 14 years teaching in Wisconsin and Arizona. Account ManagementProcess holds, extended use fees, bills and debt collection.

CirculationCheck materials in and out. Transfer materials from library to library.

Collection MaintenanceShelve materials in the proper place within the library. Move and shift collections.

Technical ServicesOrder materials, manage funds, add/change computer records in the catalog, and stamp/label materials entering or leaving the collection.

Technical SupportMaintain all computer hardware, software, and infrastructure.
