Fond du Lac Visual Arts will present Rent: Addressing the Issues, an art exhibit inspired by the musical of the same name, reflecting the themes of falling in love, reaching for your dreams, living with HIV, poverty and drug use. The public is invited to an open house reception on Saturday, June 16, 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.; refreshments will be served. FDL Visual Arts is coordinating their exhibit with Fond du Lac Community Theatre�s production of the musical July 11 through July 14 at Fond du Lac High School. WRAP Workshop and Critique

The annual Wisconsin Regional Art Program show returns to the Fond du Lac Public Library gallery in October. The show will be complemented by a drawing workshop conducted by Leah Klapperich, an instructor of expressive and therapeutic arts at Marian University, 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, October 27. The workshop will be followed by Klapperich’s critique of the work in the exhibit from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. The workshop, 'Creativity from the Inside Out,' as well as the critique are free and open to the public.
