Planned changes to the Affordable Care Act – called health care reform – will have impact on entrepreneurs and small businesses in 2019. Envision Greater Fond du Lac in partnership with IGNITE! will offer information on the changes at 1 p.m. Monday, November 5, at the Fond du Lac Public Library. Brownbagging encouraged; drinks will be provided. The program is free. Registration is required at foxcities.score.org/content/take-workshop-55.

The workshop will cover:

  • What’s new and how changes could influence health-care choices.
  • The importance of open enrollment through the federal marketplace (healthcare.gov) for companies with 1 to 50 employees on health insurance plans.
  • Financial pressures associated with high out-of-pocket expenses of many insurance plans.

The program will be presented by Fred Wilmsen, a corporate benefits specialist with The Insurance Center and owner of Atrius Partners with more than 35 years’ experience in the health insurance industry.
