Through live and pre-recorded elements, join staff of Fond du Lac Public Library’s Idea Studio as they introduce sublimation printing technology Tuesday, Feb. 23 at 6:30 p.m. via Facebook Live.

The program will discuss sublimation printing in general, the printer and heat press located in FDLPL’s Idea Studio makerspace. Staff also will offer information about the Idea Studio’s online project setup service that allows patrons to create sublimation mugs and masks even during our limited pandemic schedule.

Staff will be available to answer questions. No registration required. To follow and participate, watch the program at facebook.com/ideastudioFDLPL.

The Idea Studio also continues to offer online project setup/consultations and pickup of projects. For 3D printing, sublimation printing of masks and mugs, and button-making, patrons can schedule an online setup session with Idea Studio staff. They then can pick up and pay (if applicable) for that project when their project is ready. Previous training to use this service is not required.

Fond du Lac Public Library operates two locations: the Main Library at 32 Sheboygan St. in downtown Fond du Lac, and FDLPL Express at 1132 E. Johnson St. near Festival Foods. At this time, the main library is open for curbside service only on weekdays, and in-person on weekends. Computer use is available by appointment.

For more information on either of these locations, visit fdlpl.org. For more information on the Idea Studio, visit fdlpl.org/ideastudio.
