Look around. The world is abloom. Celebrating all things floral, 30 local artists present Fleurishes, a group themed show June 5 to July 3 at the Fond du Lac Public Library Langdon Divers Gallery. The public is invited to reception at the gallery 5:30-7 p.m. Thursday, June 13. Refreshments will be served.

Fleurishes is a made-up word that cleverly blends “fleur,” the French word for flower, and “flourish,” which is evident in the exhibit’s myriad works that interpret the colorful glory of the season.

The library’s gallery is a showcase for local and regional artists. The space is curated by volunteer artist Mel Kolstad, who can be contacted at mel@kolstad.net.
