Not sure how to use a computer or smartphone? Not comfortable with surfing the web?

A series of classes at the Fond du Lac Public Library during February will help.

Due to the popularity of the library’s smartphone classes, more sessions have been added in February.

During “A Beginner’s Guide to Smartphones,” learn how to use these highly mobile computers that have become an important part of daily life.
Smartphone classes are scheduled for:

  • Wednesday, Feb. 2 at 11 a.m. in the McLane Room
  • Tuesday, Feb. 15 at 11 a.m. in the Mid-States Room
  • Wednesday, Feb. 23 at 11 a.m. in the McLane Room

Register two weeks in advance by visiting calendar.fdlpl.org, or call our Reference Desk at 920-322-3930.

Looking for help with full-size computers rather than handheld ones?

Two Computer Basics classes have been scheduled in February to address common concerns people may have:

  • Wednesday, Feb. 9 at 11 a.m. in the McLane Room, learn keyboard shortcuts
  • Wednesday, Feb. 16 at 11 a.m. in the McLane Room, learn how to use video-conferencing services

To participate in either of these programs, call the library’s Reference Desk at 920-322-3930. Laptops are available to use if you don't have your own device.

For any of these in-person programs, masks will be required for participants.
