Want to make your dollars go further today, tomorrow and into retirement? Join any of the Financial Planning Month seminars planned at the Fond du Lac Public Library.

These programs, set for Tuesdays in October, will help people prepare their pocketbooks. Registration is preferred but not required at calendar.fdlpl.org. Sessions include:

  • Tuesday, Oct. 3 at 6 p.m. - Money Management: learn how to set a realistic budget that can lessen your financial stress with Kimberly Clark of UW-Madison Extension Services. 
  • Tuesday, Oct. 10 at 6 p.m. - Medicare Understood: Join Futurity First Insurance Group in the Mid-States Room to learn about Medicare Part A, B, C and D, and more.
  • Tuesday, Oct. 17 at 6 p.m. - Credit Scores: What is a credit score? Why is it important? Learn how to read your score & how to improve it. Led by Kimberly Clark of the UW-Madison Extension in the Mid-States Room. 
  • Tuesday, Oct. 24 at 6 p.m. - Estate Planning: Learn the basics of estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, and powers of attorney with The Estate Planning Group in Mid-States Room.
