Get into a cheerful spring spirit as the Fond du Lac Public Library offers multiple arts and crafts programs for adults during April.

  • Bad Art Night returns Monday, April 4 at 6 p.m., when painters are asked to bring their enthusiasm for art, but not necessarily a talent for it. We’ll celebrate the mediocre, the tacky, and the campy while featuring a new style of tasteless art. This month, compete in a fun Worst Art Competition. All materials provided; register at calendar.fdlpl.org.
  • Then, on Monday, April 11, join one of the library’s most popular adult programs: the Evening Craft Class. The program, which begins at 6 p.m. in the McLane Room, invites participants to create a festive Easter egg door decoration. All supplies are provided; registration required at calendar.fdlpl.org starting March 28; limited space available.
  • The Fond du Lac Public Library’s newest craft program, Good-Natured Crafts, returns Tuesday, April 19 at 6 p.m. in the Idea Studio. Join us as we make Beeswax Wraps, which are an environmentally friendly alternative to plastic wraps for food storage. All supplies will be provided.Register at calendar.fdlpl.org starting April 5; space will be limited.
